Simple and Quick Veg Pulav Ingredients:
Rice - 250 gms Fresh Pudina Leaves - 1 bunch (mint leaves) Carrot - 1 Potato - 1 Capsicum -1 Grean Peas - half cup Beans - 10 Onion -1 Tomato -1 Greenchillies - 6 to 8 cinnamon - 1, cloves - 4 Oil - 3 to 4 spoons turmeric - 1/4th teaspoon Giner garlic paste - one spoon Salt to taste
Method
1. Pour oil in the pressure cooker, fry cinnamon and cloves followed by pudina leaves, and then add green chillies and onions and fry till brown.
2. Add ginger Garlic paste fry it for few seconds then add the vegetables. Add half tea spoon salt for taste to vegetable while frying. Add turmeric and fry for five mins. Now add tomato and fry for two minutes so that the rawness goes.
3. Wash the rice and drain the water and add the rice in the cooker. Now Add water in 1:2 ratio ( for one cup rice, two cups of water)
4. Add salt and pressure cook it for one or two vizils.
5. This goes well with curd raitha.
