hi guys, just wondering if anyone could help me out in fixing this problem.

whenever i turn on the pc and before the actual windows desktop is loaded, i see some sonic software is ready for installation.

i want to get rid of this. could somebody please help.

just goto Run and type "msconfig" then goto startup tab n there remove this sonic's setup startup entry. if u still face any prob then let me know.

thanx for ur prompt reply.

well.....i hv gone into msconfig and looked for tht particular program.
couldnt find it.

now that the problem is becoming worse.
it keeps on poping the same message. is there anyways u cld help me.

just visit http://www.simplisoftware.com and download their startup manager for free n then try removing its startup entry. might fix the prob. also telme which antivirus r u using?

sorry for the trouble mate.
i am afraid, my problem is not fixed yet.

i hv  downloaded startup manager from simplisoft.com as u said. when i hv run it i was still not able to locate the file with 'sonic' in it.
i would attach a screenshot of the simplisoft result.



also, i use mcafee as my antivirus.

try scanning ur system using avast antivirus, its the best antivirus available these days. get the free home edition version from http://www.avast.com , uninstall mcafee before using avast.
