Ingredients:
4 Cloves 1 Lemon, zest 1 Orange, zest 3 tbsp Brandy 1" Ginger, peeled 2 Cinnamon sticks 2 Soft Brown sugar 1 tsp Grated Nutmeg 900 ml Dry strong cider 2 Apples, cored and sliced
Method: Put the lemon and orange zest, cider, sugar and spices into a deep-sided pan and warm through for about 10 minutes. Add the brandy and reheat gently. Serve with sliced fresh apples.
Tip: To rim a cocktail glass with sugar or salt, run a piece of lemon or lime around the edge and dip in salt or sugar.
