A world full of darkness envelops me
Silence, except the crying of the dove.
A lonely night, wishing to be set free,
From the imprisoning walls of my love.

An anguishing heart is now left behind,
And all the while, a strong girl I remain.
If given the chance, all this I'd rescind
Knowing that love ends completely in vain.

But once possessing the tranquility,
Looking into the eyes of a stranger,
Only thinking of the stability
Realizing love never means danger.

What oft was thought but ne'er so well expressed
So seems soon to abruptly disappear
A stillness my heart holds, I must confess
But love will be thought of in every tear.
