Shruti Hassan daughter of the legendary actor Kamal Hassan and actress Sarika. Shruti Hassan, who has just completed her 20s has treaded on her parents’ footsteps. She is all set to make her big debut in Bollywood with producer Vasu Bhagnani’s next ‘Kal Kisne Dekha’ and as an actor opposite matinee idol Madhavan in a Tamil movie not titled as yet.



Shruti, with special interest in music, has sung and written songs for films, after completing her course from the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. She sings, she writes, she acts, but clearly she doesn't talk too much. Shruti Hasaan seems to have more than just acting genes from her parents Kamal Hassan and Sarika.

Shruti isn't very vocal about her films but she can't stop raving about her mother Sarika's selection of movies. "The cinema that she is doing now suits her personality. I thought Parzania rocked she is doing really great stuff. I love alternative stuff," said Shruti.
